Prisons Outreach

We are not ashamed to proclaim the good news (to even the hardest of criminals) because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes” (Romans 1:16). We are privileged to show prisoners the unconditional love of God by pointing them to the grace of the cross. The perfect Lamb of God died for us while we were still sinners (Romans 5:8).

The Prison outreach Projects seeks to allow inmates to encounter the “love of God that leads to repentance” (Romans 5:8), and many lives being transformed. Our desire is to demonstrate love, hope and support to prisoners in order for them to be empowered to believe in their God-given value. Our heart desire is to teach prisoners to know God , gain self-respect , confidence and respect for others.

We encourage them with the hope of a new life in God by teaching them how to live victorious Christian lives through bible teachings. We wish to help them practically in many ways, that is, by visiting them, donating items such as: groceries, clothes, Bibles etc., conducting free medical programs including health screening and providing medications where necessary and Love Feast (This is a time where we dine together with them as a way of making them know their importance in God’s salvation plan and His love for them).

We also wish to teach prisoners vocational and life skills so they are better equipped to fend for themselves and their families when they are released. We believe there will be transformation through the help they will receive with the hope of joining the outreach programme someday to come.
