Physically Challenged

Disability per the World Health Organization’s (WHO) definition can summarized as the interaction between a person‘s body against the people and the society in which he or she dwells.

Therefore there is the need for interventions to address the severe physical challenges of health conditions which may include Down syndrome, hearing impairment, cerebral palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as environmental and social barriers. People with disability may undergo such experience as mentioned above and many others due to extreme poverty and social exclusion. This poverty state increases several health risk behaviors such as poor diet and physical inactivity.

The ministry however provides these interventions that helps to bridge the gap between Persons Living with Disability (PWDs) and the society by act of donations and advocacy.
